"10 Dates Later..." is one woman's honest, hilarious and heartfelt reflection of dating in her 20s. Author Lillian Prince takes us back down memory lane with her as she remembers 10 moments, 10 red flags, and 10 of the worst dates she's ever been on. She recalls the self-imposed and familiar pressure of being married and having kids by 30 which caused a lot of errors in judgment in order to beat the clock. Whether he was short on cash, or just shorter than he said he was in his profile, Lillian puts a comical spin on a not-so-funny time in most women's lives.
About The Author:
Lillian Prince Mitchell was born and raised right outside of Washington, DC. She's written for such publications as the Baltimore Afro, Washington Business Journal and Sister 2 Sister magazine. One of her earlier published pieces was for her Alma Mater Morgan State University's Spokesman Newspaper while she was a student there.
She married the love of her life, Tim, in May 2016, but will admit "Before I was 32 and happily married, I was 20 something and single and simple." Thanks to countless journals she's kept over the years and access to an old Hotmail account where she would share with her girlfriends the craziness about her dating life, she had more than enough content for her first book "10 Dates Later". "It's funny, and honest, and transparent and relatable. If you're 20 something, or you've ever been 20 something you'll be able to relate to the pressure we put on ourselves to be married by 30" says Prince.
