About The Author:

Denise Polote-Kelly is a widow, the mother of two adult sons and grandmother of two. Denise has an extensive background in Commercial Construction and Business Management. After losing her husband she opened and is the owner of D. Kelly Management; she is a philanthropist, encourager, a motivator and #1- Two Time Best Selling author. Her books speak on the grief process and recovery. She is releasing as a co-author in Soul Source and launching her next individual book in October 2017 Widow to Warrior.

She serves as an Imerman Angel Mentor for cancer patients, caregivers and survivors. Denise has appeared on WTOC Savannah, WSAV and throughout
the South East and Bahamas. She has been featured in Savannah Tribune, Herald of Savannah and at the Southern Women’s Show. Denise is a President’s Club member of CWMA (Christian Women in Media Association. TLOD, Inc. (Top Ladies of Distinction) and the NAPW (National Association of Professional Women).

Denise founded the Winston H. Kelly, Sr. Memorial Foundation and Laps for Life after losing her husband to stomach cancer. Proceeds from her
book helps to benefit these two endeavors which raise funds for research, educates about stomach cancer and support families affected by this silent killer. The foundation also supports the efforts of childhood cancer research, programs and has committed to supporting mentoring programs for young people.

Denise is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, CGRS that through pain and loss has committed to helping others to realize and know that
they can and must live after loss. She has turned traumatic loss, pain and grieving into triumph..
