About The Author:

Alfred Duncan graduated from Forestville High School in Prince Georges County, MD and received his Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Shenandoah University. Mr. Duncan is the lead vocalist of the DC based band "Mambo Sauce" in which he wrote and performed their hit single "Welcome to DC" which is a popular tune amongst Washington Metropolitan natives. To this day "Welcome to DC" can be heard in all DC professional sporting arenas during all DC professional sporting events (Washington Wizards, Washington Redskins, Washington, Nationals, Washington Mystic, and Washington Capitals). Mr. Duncan is a 2x Grammy nominated artist for his contributions to SOJA's 2014 album entitled "Amid The Noise and Haste" and their 2015 album entitled "Live From Virginia". Mr. Duncan is also Emmy nominated for narrating the PBS broadcast show entitled "The District". Mr. Duncan's most resent notoriety comes from his planning and execution of his very own wedding. Mr. Duncan proposed to his then girlfriend at 11am and surprised her with a wedding at 6pm on the same day. The hashtag #ForeverDuncan became an instant viral sensation with over 50 million views to date. Since the wedding Mr. Duncan has created Duncan Man Planning. An event planning agency dedicated to helping men create forever moments for their significant other.
